Julia Barbani

Attorney

Julia Barbani attended college in the beautiful north Georgia mountains. She graduated from North Georgia College and State University (Now University of North Georgia) in Political Science with minors in Pre-Law Studies and Business Administration

From there, my husband and I lived in Alabama for several years where I earned my Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. I think passing the bar immediately after graduating from law school was the best feeling ever!

I am proud to have secured a $1,250,000.00 settlement for a widow who lost her husband to a motorcycle crash. An unexpected accomplishment was taking on a premise case with a denial of liability to a $250,000.00 settlement. Representing those who have been harmed in personal injury cases and UPS vehicle accident lawsuits can be incredibly rewarding.

I WANT TO CONTINUE SERVING CLIENTS IN THEIR TIME OF NEED IN AN EFFORT TO HELP THEM SEEK JUSTICE. I CAN’T IMAGINE A MORE REWARDING CAREER.

Among the most important lessons I’ve learned in my life are:

  • Hard work and dedication always pay off
  • Lead by example
  • The older you get, the faster time goes

I am a native of Georgia but spent some time growing up in Texas. I grew up in both Georgia and Texas. My family is originally from Georgia but my mom taught at Baylor University for a big chunk of my childhood so we split time between the two states. Visiting family in Georgia on holidays and the school year in Texas resulted in lots of traveling as a child.

I said I wanted to be an attorney when I grew up from the time I was about 8 years old. My grandparents listened to that dream and encouraged me to go to law school. There were also several professors from both undergrad and law school who motivated me to be the best I could be and I credit them for encouraging my success and building me into the person I am today.

My husband and parents have been the biggest influences in my life. They’ve all shown me what it means to be resilient and the value of setting goals and working toward them every day.

I enjoy spending time traveling. In my spare time, I go to Disney, love spending time reading, cooking and trying new recipes, and playing with my dogs.

I love cars and would like to do one of the racing schools. I’d also like to take an Alaskan cruise.
